Lasting for up to two years, Sculptra is often known as ‘liquid face lift’ because of the stunning results it gives in thickening skin, restoring facial contours and smoothing out lines and wrinkles. This injectable product made of poly-L-lactic acid (PLA) is used to stimulate the production of collagen and is ideal for restoring volume where there are signs of facial fat loss, or lipoatrophy.  

An effective treatment for sunken cheeks, indentations and hollow eyes, the PLA present in Sculptra is diluted in sterile water and then injected under the surface of the skin. These particles stimulate the production of collagen in the skin, which adds volume over time.
