Estetica offers a range of chemical peels that can reveal fresher, younger looking skin in a matter of weeks. Cosmetic peels will enhance your appearance and self-confidence, while some chemical peels may also remove pre-cancerous skin growths, soften facial acne scars, and even control acne.

Chemical peels commonly contain alpha hydroxyacids, naturally occurring acids found in fruits and other foods that have been proven to be effective in treating a range of conditions including skin dryness, liver or sun spots, fine facial wrinkles and enlarged pores, while improving skin texture. Light peels are conducted in courses of six to eight treatments, with no less than a four-week interval in between each. This type of peel leaves the skin with a red glow, lasting for only a day or so.

Several different types of peels are offered for different therapeutic effects. Skin Medica Re-Vitalize peels are excellent for exfoliation to reveal younger, vibrant skin. Neostrata alpha hydroxy peels come in different strengths to revitalize skin and diminish wrinkles. Salicylic acid and Jessner peels penetrate acne to create clearer complexions. Depending on your treatment goals, we usually recommend Obagi, Skin Medica or Neostrata creams in between peels to maximize results.
